According to ТСН: The Russian actress, star of the film 'Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears', Vera Alentova, has passed away.
The news of her death was announced by Russian propagandist media. It is reported that Vera Alentova became unwell during the farewell to her colleague Anatoly Lobotkin. An ambulance was called for the actress, but despite the doctors' efforts, she died at the age of 83.

According to information, the cause of death was an acute myocardial infarction against the background of hypertensive heart disease.

Vera Alentova ended up on Ukraine's 'black list'. In August 2017, she was added to the database of the 'Peacemaker' website for knowingly violating Ukrainian borders, participating in propaganda events, and touring in occupied Crimea. Her husband, director Vladimir Menshov, who passed away in July 2021, openly supported the Russian occupation of Crimea and Donbas and even financially assisted militants from the so-called 'LNR' and 'DNR'.
