According to The Sun: Aston Villa is developing plans to expand the North Stand at their Villa Park stadium to increase capacity by 6,000 seats, doubling it to over 12,000. The total capacity of the stadium is expected to be around 49,000 after the expansion. The club aims to boost matchday revenues and is also preparing to host matches for Euro 2028.
To increase revenue, Aston Villa now plans to turn their stadium into a venue for various events. The club aims to open a new facility called 'The Warehouse' featuring concerts and a boxing gym, as well as the largest beer hall in the Premier League. A modern club store is also in the plans.
