On October 30, the draft concept of the Unified Judicial Information and Communication System (UJICS) was presented with the support of the USAID "Justice for All" Program.

The event was attended by representatives of the judiciary, the Committee on Legal Policy, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Prosecutor General's Office, and NABU. Representatives of the legal community, enforcement service, and public organizations were also involved in the discussion.

According to USAID, the concept of the E-Court aims to create a comprehensive IT system and judiciary infrastructure, including its development and expected outcomes from implementation. This will allow automating information exchange within the justice system bodies and institutions and simplify citizens' access to justice.

The Head of the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on Legal Policy, Denys Maslov, assures that thanks to the joint actions of the Committee, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and international assistance projects, significant results will be achieved.

The concept is based on a people-centered approach, as the system must be understandable for users, notes expert Ruslan Pakhomov.

The project's implementation, according to optimistic estimations, will take 3 years.
