Came to the interview drunk? Emma Antonuk revealed details of the conversation with Kristina Solovei.

Ukrainian interviewer Emma Antonuk suggests that during the controversial interview, Ukrainian singer Kristina Solovei might have been drunk. She shared this in a conversation with Yana Brenzey.

According to Antonuk, during the recording of the interview, Solovei took a break to smoke and became the only guest on the channel to request a pause.

«I think she was drunk during that interview. I have no evidence, but I am personally convinced of it. She arrived, and I asked: «How are you feeling?». And she said: «The mood is here» and pointed at the cup. I sniffed, and there was obviously sparkling or white wine. During the interview, she took breaks to smoke. Her team asked not to include this in the broadcast, so we just cut it out», – Emma Antonuk recounted.

The interviewer also noted that viewers could not fully understand the true reason for the singer's behavior in the video.

«Many people in the comments mistakenly wrote that she is stupid or trying to appear smarter than she is. I don’t think so. It seems to me that she was drunk during this interview. Another important signal for me was that at the end she leaned in to hug me and said that we should go for coffee. And after that, she already said in the interview that Emma is a terrible interviewer, I do not recommend going to her, and so on», – the journalist added.

Kristina Solovei has not commented on these assumptions yet. It is worth noting that Antonuk's interview with Solovei was published in July 2024.
