PrivatBank, PUMB, Raiffeisen, Oschadbank: the best banks in Ukraine named.

The banking index of Ukraine is led by PrivatBank

PrivatBank is the first in the ranking of the best banks in Ukraine, according to the bank's press service. According to the OpenDataBot Index 2025, PrivatBank continues to hold a leading position among banks with a high reputation. Last year, the bank earned UAH 110.51 billion, which is the largest share of total income among all banks.

The ranking includes ten leading banks that together earned over UAH 267 billion. By the end of the year, bank revenues grew by 14%. Among them are five state-owned banks, which accounted for 68% of total income, three foreign banks, and two private banks.

'In the ranking, Ukreximbank replaced Credit Agricole in 11th place', - said the press service.

Following PrivatBank in the ranking are Oschadbank and Raiffeisen, which took second and third places, respectively. The fourth and fifth positions are taken by Universal Bank (mono) and PUMB. In the second half of the ranking, the first place is occupied by UkrSibbank, followed by UkrGazBank, Ukreximbank, Sens Bank, and OTP Bank in tenth place.

Among state-owned banks, Oschadbank stands out, increasing income by 1.6 times and tripling profit compared to 2023. A significant increase (1.4 times) was also shown by Ukreximbank. Of the four state banks, only Sens Bank showed negative dynamics - a decrease in income by 14% and profit by 24%.

Among banks with foreign capital, the results regarding profit are mixed: only OTP Bank managed to increase it by 11%, while Raiffeisen and UkrSibbank saw profit decrease by 11% and 6%, respectively.

Two private banks - Universal Bank (mono) and PUMB - together earned UAH 37.53 billion, which is 14% of the total income of the ten leading banks. Both banks increased their revenues: Universal Bank - by 22%, and PUMB - by 14%. At the same Time, the profitability of the banks differs significantly: PUMB maintained profit at the level of 2023, while Universal Bank doubled it.

The OpenDataBot Index takes into account banks with high incomes and impeccable reputations. To compile the 2025 ranking, financial indicators from the annual reports of banks for 2024 were used. PrivatBank has held a leading position in this ranking for the third consecutive year.
