The World Bank URTF Fund raised 2 billion USD in donor contributions

The Ministry of Finance reported that by the end of 2024, the World Bank URTF Fund managed to raise 2 billion USD in donor contributions. Of this amount, 1.2 billion USD has already been utilized.

According to the Ministry of Finance, thanks to grant funding, it was possible to obtain 6.2 billion USD in additional support for recovery, reforms, and construction in Ukraine.

Currently, URTF supports projects that have already reached more than 20 million Ukrainians:

87,000+ households have received compensation for the repair of damaged homes.

The HOPE project in the housing sector provided an opportunity to receive compensation for housing restoration after the war.

3.5 million people received restored electricity supply, and 1.5 million residents returned to warmth thanks to the RePoWER project in the energy sector.

The RePoWER project helped restore electricity supply and provide the necessary equipment for the further provision of electricity.

6.3 million people received mental health services, 5.2 million children were vaccinated, and 473,000 people underwent rehabilitation thanks to the HEAL project in health care.

The HEAL project provided access to mental health services, vaccination, and rehabilitation for millions of Ukrainians.

33,000 farmers gained access to preferential financing thanks to the ARISE project in agriculture.

The ARISE project helped farmers gain access to financing for the development of the agricultural sector.

13 million people timely received social assistance payments thanks to the PEACE project to support Ukraine's capacity to provide public services.

The PEACE project was implemented to ensure timely social assistance to the Ukrainian population.

380,000 students received enhanced education, and 12,000 children in remote areas received free transportation thanks to the LEARN project in education.

The LEARN project improved education for many students and provided free transportation for children from remote areas.
