The number of illegal border crossings has increased
According to the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko, since the beginning of the invasion, the most attempts for illegal border crossings have been recorded on the sections with Romania and Moldova. Organizers have prepared for the fact that people who cross the border illegally do not return to Ukraine. In contrast, the least attempts have been recorded on the border with Poland.
Additionally, attempts for illegal border crossing have been registered outside of the checkpoints. Citizens who try to provide false documents or change exit conditions may face consequences. Every day, two to ten cases of document forgery are identified.
