Ukrainian soldier Yuriy Hryn was killed by an explosive device drop

Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians remember the victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Yuriy Hryn.

On November 21, a commemoration of the warrior Yuriy Hryn took place in the city of Shepetivka. He was a soldier of the anti-tank missile company of the local military unit. Hryn died from injuries sustained as a result of an explosive device dropped from a drone in the Zaporizhia region. This was reported by the Shepetivka city council.

Yuriy Hryn was born on May 8, 1998, and grew up in a large family. He was a peaceful and responsible young man who finished school and a vocational college. After his studies, Hryn worked on the railway and served in the National Guard. In 2021, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Hryn served in the 128th Anti-Tank Brigade and participated in the battles for Bakhmut. He was very professional and received awards for his military achievements. Yuriy Hryn died in November 2021.

The heart of the young soldier stopped due to injuries sustained in battle. His family is very upset about this loss. Today there is a nationwide minute of silence during which Ukrainians honor the memory of fallen soldiers. We remember all those who dedicated their lives for the sake of Ukraine's freedom.
