On the night of October 19, Russia attacked a fire-rescue unit in the city of Shostka, Sumy region. As a result, rescuers were injured. This was reported by the DSNS.
«On the night of October 19, enemy aviation carried out a strike on the fire-rescue unit in Shostka. Part of the building was destroyed. At the Time of the attack, the personnel was in shelter», – said the DSNS.
Five rescuers were wounded and hospitalized. Buildings and six DSNS units of equipment were also damaged.
Recall that on the night of October 19, Russian aircraft carried out an airstrike on the Shostka community of Sumy region, using bombs and missiles. As a result, seven people were injured, and energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
«We destroyed three enemy bomber aircraft. As a result of the enemy offensive, seven people were injured. Energy and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Several settlements in the Shostka district were left without electricity», - the statement said.
