Russia is verifying the statement of former Zenit footballer Claudinho: what is at stake for him.
According to inkorr.com: Dmytro Svyshev, the first deputy head of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, commented on the situation surrounding the former Zenit footballer Claudinho. This Brazilian, who received Russian citizenship, recently stated that he planned to leave the club after the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, but later in an interview noted that he has deep respect and love for Russia and does not intend to leave Zenit due to political problems.
Literally yesterday I received a response from the Prosecutor General's Office that Claudinho's case is under processing. They said to wait for a response and decision.
Svyshev emphasized that the incident involving Claudinho's statements has attracted significant attention. During the investigation, it will be determined whether a criminal or administrative case has been initiated.
