Russia convenes an informal UN Security Council meeting due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive.

In Russia, there will be a meeting of the UN Security Council members under the Arria formula, where the issue of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region will be raised.

The scheduled event will take place on Tuesday at 5:00 PM local time.

In the letter sent by Russian diplomats to the UN Security Council members, it is noted that the topic of discussion will be "crimes committed by the Kyiv authorities".

Earlier, Venezuelan diplomat Diego Arria, who initiated the UN Security Council members' meetings under the Arria formula, condemned Russia for using this format to spread falsehoods and justify aggression against Ukraine.
