Russia launched 397 drones and 18 missiles at Kyiv - what was shot down.


On the night of July 10, Russia again attacked the territory of Ukraine with drones and missiles, totaling 415 units. The main target for destruction was Kyiv.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
How Russia attacked Kyiv on July 10
The enemy attacked using 397 strike drones, including kamikaze drones of the 'Shahed' type, as well as imitators of various types, launched from the territories of Bryansk, Kursk, and Oryol regions, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo.
In addition, eight ballistic 'Iskander-M' missiles were launched from the Bryansk region, six Kh-101 cruise missiles—from the airspace over the Saratov region, and four S-300 guided anti-aircraft missiles—from the territory of the Kursk region.
To repel the attack, aviation forces, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and drone interception systems were involved.
As of 10:00 a.m., the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 178 aerial targets. Among them—164 'Shahed' drones, eight 'Iskander-M' ballistic missiles, and six Kh-101 cruise missiles. Another 204 targets were either lost geographically or suppressed by electronic warfare means.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported instances of enemy hits in eight populated areas, including 33 cases of strike drones. Additionally, there are reports of 23 locations where debris from downed targets has fallen.
It should be noted that in Kyiv, cleanup operations following the Russian attack are ongoing, involving hundreds of rescuers and special equipment.
Monitoring channels released an approximate map of the movement of strike drones and missiles launched by Russia on the night of July 10.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a large-scale attack by Russia on Kyiv using drones and missiles. Defensive measures allowed for the destruction of a significant portion of enemy targets, but there were also damaged populated areas where missiles and drones hit.
