Moscow uses the pact with North Korea to simulate the legality of its criminal actions - expert

International security expert Taras Zhovtenko claims that Moscow abuses the pact with North Korea to legitimize its criminal actions. He compared the actions of the Russian government to those of bandits and thieves. The cooperation between Russia and North Korea threatens regional and global security and violates the decisions of the UN Security Council. Even Russia itself voted for these decisions and resolutions. According to Zhovtenko, Russia is trying to conceal its actions by legalizing them through the pact with North Korea.

The expert calls the treaty between Russia and North Korea a 'fig leaf' that Moscow uses to hide its violations of international agreements. He argues that this treaty is an example of international legal regulation of relations between countries.

According to him, Russia uses this treaty to legitimize its criminal actions and simulate to the world community that they are not in violation. The expert emphasizes that the cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow actually undermines the international security system.
