Fog Reduces the Activity of Russian Drones by Half: What is Happening at the Front.
Reduction in Drone Usage Due to Weather Conditions
According to ТСН: Dense fog has forced Russian military forces to significantly reduce the use of drones.
Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin reported during the "We are Ukraine" broadcast that unfavorable weather conditions have led to a decrease in the activity of kamikaze drones, cargo-dropping drones, and reconnaissance aircraft by almost half. However, the number of infiltration attempts has remained at the same level, and Ukrainian search groups continue their work.
"At the same time, the enemy does not reduce its assault activity. It conducts assault actions in small groups and sometimes brings in tanks, armored vehicles, and even motorcyclists."
It is also worth noting that the beginning of the calendar winter will be marked by a powerful eastern anticyclone, which will bring anomalously warm weather and dense fogs.
These weather changes are reflected in the combat activities and tactics of both sides of the conflict. The decrease in drone activity may affect the enemy's ability to conduct reconnaissance and offensive operations, marking an important moment in the development of combat actions at the front.
