Russians Suffer from YouTube Issues.

The YouTube video hosting service has stopped playing videos in high quality in almost all browsers that work in the computer version on the territory of Russia. This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency tass.ru.

It is noted that high-quality videos are not played in Google Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Mi Browser. The Safari browser in the mobile version redirects the user to YouTube.

However, as propagandists emphasize, high-quality videos continue to play in the "Yandex browser" and the computer version of the Safari browser.

In response to a request from the Russian service of "Voice of America," a YouTube representative stated that everything is working properly.

"We are aware that some people cannot access YouTube in Russia," the company noted. "This is not the result of any technical issues or actions on our part." YouTube also did not specify whether any measures are being taken to resolve the issue.

Recall that at the end of July, the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, warned that the loading speed of YouTube on desktop computers in Russia could decrease by 70%. According to him, this is a forced step aimed not against Russian users, but against the administration of a foreign resource.
