Russians claimed to have beheaded a Ukrainian soldier. Lubinets reacted.

A video appeared on the internet showing Russians displaying the severed head of what appears to be a Ukrainian serviceman. This was reported by DeepState analysts and the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

The 155th Separate Guards Brigade of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation claimed responsibility for the crime.

«In one of the videos, so-called Russian marines boast about the severed head of a Ukrainian serviceman. The crime scene is the Kolotylivka checkpoint. Approximately on August 12, there was an unsuccessful attempt by the Defense Forces to break through the enemy», – noted DeepState analysts.

Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported that he contacted the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the video about the latest act of violation of international humanitarian law by the Russian side.

Lubinets also noted that such videos are used by Russians to intimidate and demoralize Ukrainians.

Recall that Russian occupiers torture Ukrainian prisoners of war starting from the first interrogations. At the same Time, the practice of torture in Russian captivity is «widespread and systematic».

It was previously reported that the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, urgently contacted the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN due to the appearance on the internet of a photo with the likely body of a Ukrainian prisoner of war, whose head and limbs were severed by Russian occupiers.
