The previous day, July 21, pro-Kremlin outlets circulated roughly 70 posts centered on rumors about an FBI director’s visit to Russia. These materials suggest that behind-the-scenes talks are taking place between the two nations, deliberately excluding Ukraine from the process. The coordinated push aims to create a false narrative of secret diplomacy.

Russian information sources also claimed that the US is preparing 'back-channel investigations.' This disinformation seeks not only to destabilize Ukraine but also to undermine confidence in American support.
