Russian occupiers shot a civilian in Terny, Donetsk region.
In the Lyman community of the Donetsk region, a civilian was killed by Russian military personnel using firearms. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General. According to preliminary data, this horrific incident occurred on November 10, when Russian troops opened fire on a woman walking down the street in the village of Terny. The woman died on the spot. The Donetsk regional prosecutor's office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into this murder, which violates the laws and customs of war. Investigators are working to establish the circumstances and identify the deceased.
According to the Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets, Russia abuses human rights by killing Ukrainian prisoners of war to intimidate its soldiers and show its contempt for international humanitarian law. The occupiers claim that Ukrainians will destroy them and seek to demonstrate the ineffectiveness of international humanitarian law.
