This morning, Russian forces attacked residential buildings in Odesa. As a result of the shelling, a large fire broke out, and many apartments suffered serious damage.
Among the victims is the family of Ukraine's synchronized swimming champion Vladyslava Kocherba. With the help of neighbors, who managed to clear the rubble, they were rescued. The athlete's apartment sustained significant destruction.
Loud explosions were also heard in Odesa, damaging civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, educational institutions, and vehicles. Three people were injured in the shelling and are receiving medical assistance.
These attacks are a response to Russia's actions against the Ukrainian army, and Ukrainian forces will continue to destroy the military infrastructure of the occupiers, the General Staff emphasizes.
