Russian military aircraft violated Poland's airspace.
A Russian military aircraft of the type Su-24MR was detected violating Poland's airspace. The incident occurred at 14:09 over the eastern part of the Gdańsk Bay. The aircraft intruded into Polish airspace by 6.5 km and was there for about a minute.
According to preliminary data, the reason for the incident was a malfunction of the navigation system of the Russian aircraft. The radar systems of the Polish Armed Forces closely monitored the aircraft's movement and immediately changed the flight route after the intervention of the Russian Armed Forces navigator.
It is worth noting that earlier there were reports of a Russian military aircraft violating the airspace of Finland and Sweden. Also, in September of last year, a Belarusian fighter Yak-130 intruded into Ukrainian airspace.
