General Director of the Olympic Committee of Russia in the 'Peacemaker' database: what he is accused of.
The General Director of the Olympic Committee of Russia has been listed in the 'Peacemaker' database
According to inkorr.com: According to information published by the 'Glavkom' portal, the General Director of the Olympic Committee of Russia, Roman Kramar, has been added to the database of the 'Peacemaker' website. He is accused of complicity in the crimes of the Russian authorities against Ukraine and its citizens.
It was noted that in February 2023, while being the director of the hockey club 'Amur', Kramar organized an event to support the liquidation of the occupier Oleksii Chaplyhin. During a match of the Continental Hockey League, fans honored Chaplyhin's memory with a moment of silence and brought a puck to the ice, carried by the occupier's son and wife.
"Our club has been participating in various humanitarian projects aimed at providing assistance to the residents of the DPR and LPR, including internally displaced persons, from the very beginning of the SVO. We will continue to do so," Kramar said in October 2022.
Additionally, it has become known that the Council of the International Ski Federation (FIS) has decided not to allow Russians and Belarusians to participate in the Olympic qualifying competitions. The International Olympic Committee has implemented the AIN (Athlete Individual Neutral) status, prohibiting athletes from Russia and Belarus from participating in the qualification for the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
"The FIS Council voted to exclude athletes with individual neutral status (AIN) from the qualifying competitions for the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milan. The AIN status was developed by the International Olympic Committee for the possible inclusion of athletes from Russia and Belarus in the qualification for the Spring Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2026. However, each international federation has the right to independently decide whether to allow these athletes to qualify."
Thus, the General Director of the Olympic Committee of Russia has been added to the 'Peacemaker' database, and he is accused of complicity in crimes against Ukraine. Additionally, Russian and Belarusian athletes will not be able to participate in the Olympic qualifying competitions due to the AIN status, which hinders their participation in the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
