Explosions in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation
On the night of November 25-26, several cities in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation experienced a series of explosions, and the air defense system was activated. This information was reported by the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar.
According to him, several drones were destroyed in the area of Novoshakhtinsk, Taganrog, Kamensk, and Zernograd. 'Since midnight, air defense forces in the Rostov region have been repelling the enemy's aerial assault. Currently, 4 UAVs have been destroyed: in the area of Novoshakhtinsk, Taganrog, Kamensk, and Zernograd,' noted Slyusar.
The governor also reported that no one was injured as a result of the explosions, and there was no damage. The operation of the air defense system continues.
Telegram channels in Rostov also reported a series of explosions. Additionally, explosions were heard in the village of Novobessergenevka near Taganrog. Two military airfields are located near Taganrog.
Explosions in the Kursk and Kaluga regions
Also, on the night of November 25, a series of explosions occurred in the Kursk and Kaluga regions. One of the epicenters was a fire at the oil depot 'Kaluganaftoprudukt' following drone strikes. The governors of the regions, Vladislav Shapsha and Alexey Smirnov, reported this.
It is also known that the 'Typhoon' plant in Kaluga, which is part of the Russian defense industry complex, may have been attacked.
