The Ukrainian singer Ruslana openly shared for the first time that she was pregnant but lost the child. She mentioned that she and her husband tried many times to become parents, but all attempts to get pregnant ended in failure. She talked about this in an interview with Slava Dyomin.

The artist admitted that she even turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF), but this also did not yield results. Ruslana explained that doctors ultimately advised her to stop trying, as it could harm her health.

«I tried to get pregnant many times... I have no health problems whatsoever. Perhaps there were some stresses, fatigue, or something else... We wanted children, and I made many attempts for that. This is a natural path and IVF. Moreover, it's too much IVF when doctors said to take care of myself, as it might negatively affect my health», – said the singer.

Ruslana also mentioned that in 2010 she managed to get pregnant, but the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage early on. «Yes, the pregnancy was lost. It was a short term. It was my first IVF protocol. There wasn't even a month; I lost it in the third week...», – the artist shared.
