Sarat Winery Privatization Auction Concludes
According to Novyny.live: The Sarat Winery in the Odesa region has been sold at a privatization auction for 10,169,100 Ukrainian hryvnias. The sole bidder and purchaser was the limited liability company 'DEN VAIN'. The privatization of state-owned assets like this winery is a key part of Ukraine's economic reform efforts.
Located in the village of Bairamcha, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, at 45 Molodizhna Street, the facility was sold for just slightly above its starting price of 10,168,586.43 hryvnias, indicating minimal competitive bidding. The property complex includes buildings with a total area exceeding 1,181.5 square meters. The land plot beneath the enterprise, covering 1.57 hectares, is held under a lease agreement.
Core Operations and Development Potential
The Sarat Winery's primary activity is the production of grape wines. The site contains numerous production and auxiliary buildings that support a continuous manufacturing process, including:
- A grape processing workshop
- A distillery
- An acidification workshop
- Several storage warehouses
- A garage
- A boiler house
- An administrative building
- A water tower
- A fire reservoir
- Liquid storage reservoirs
- Horizontal and vertical tanks

The acquisition by 'DEN VAIN' LLC could mark a significant step for the regional wine industry. The auction winner now has the opportunity to modernize production and implement new technologies, which may enhance product quality and market availability. This sale aligns with broader trends in Ukraine, where private investors are increasingly seeking opportunities in the agricultural sector.
A successful privatization like this may stimulate further auction activity within the winemaking industry, potentially benefiting the local economy and creating new jobs.
