Another Ukrainian football club may disappear forever.
The football club 'Minai' has announced that it will not be able to participate in the First League next season due to financial problems. The club is currently on pause but plans to return to professional play in the future.
The coaching staff of 'Minai' has left the team, but a new coach has not yet been introduced. The club expressed gratitude to all fans and partners for their support during this difficult time.
Who will replace 'Minai' in the First League
According to the regulations, 'Minai's' place in the tournament will be taken by 'Metallurg' from Zaporizhzhia. Meanwhile, the plans to merge 'Minai' with FC 'Uzhhorod' did not materialize, so the Uzhhorod club will continue to compete in the Second League, which creates certain concerns for Ukrainian football.
As a result of financial problems, 'Minai' is forced to refuse to participate in the First League, and its place will be taken by 'Metallurg' from Zaporizhzhia. The plans to merge with FC 'Uzhhorod' did not come to fruition, so the Uzhhorod club will remain in the Second League, which may affect the further development of Ukrainian football.
