A child died at a playground in Russia
A 11-year-old boy died as a result of an accident at a playground in the village of Kherson in the Stavropol Krai (Russia). The child was killed by a metal structure connected to a basketball hoop by football gates, reports 'Glavcom'.
According to the mother of the deceased child, Viktoriya Magomadova, the boy was playing with other children at the playground when the tragedy occurred. A witness to the event reported that a beam pinched the boy.
Magomadova noted that an employee from the administration of the neighboring village, who arrived at the scene, showed no sympathy and said a touchy phrase that struck the mother of the deceased child.
Also in the news from Russia, famous speed skater Ksenia Korzhova liked posts supporting Russian aggression. In particular, she expressed her support for gymnast Mykyta Nahornyi, who is under sanctions from several countries for supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Other Russians who also contributed to the war have lost their right to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris.
Analysis
This news once again confirms the importance of child safety at playgrounds and the need for adult supervision. Furthermore, supporting athletes who express their backing for aggressive actions can lead to serious consequences, such as losing the opportunity to participate in important sports events.
