Ukraine won three golds at the 2025 World Games: who brought the victories.
The World Games 2025 are ongoing in Chengdu, China. The Ukrainian team won three gold medals in three sports.
The day began with a medal for Sofia Grechko, who became the champion in speed underwater swimming at a distance of 200 meters in a monofin. The Ukrainian finished with a time of 1:27.90, leaving all competitors behind, including representatives from aggressor countries.
Bohdan Mochulskyi achieved a historic third consecutive gold at the World Games in jiu-jitsu. The Ukrainian defeated the Dutch competitor, Ekko van der Ween, in the final of the 62 kg weight category with a score of 17:12.
Mochulskyi is currently the most decorated Ukrainian athlete in the history of the World Games.
In Muay Thai, the victory was won by Dmytro Shelesko. The Ukrainian triumphed over Israeli Ruach Gordon by points (30:27) in the final.
It should be noted that earlier in karate, Ukrainian Anzhelika Terliuga won silver. However, in the men's over 84 kg category, Rizvan Talibov won the gold medal.
Ukrainian athletes continue to delight with victories at the 2025 World Games, having won three gold medals and demonstrating a high level of training and skill in various sports.
