Ivan Ilic's injury in the match against England
According to The Sun: Serbian national team midfielder Ivan Ilic suffered a serious knee injury during the qualifying match for the World Cup against England. The 24-year-old player was forced to leave the field with the help of two medical staff in the 37th minute of the match after falling to the ground in severe pain.
Ilic lost the ball just outside the penalty area, which led to his fall.
“This is a serious injury for him, and we hope for a speedy recovery,” said the coach.
