Attack by the Russian Federation during the preparations for the meeting between Zelensky and Trump: what Kuleba stated.
According to ТСН: The Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha commented on the attack on Ukraine that occurred on December 27, emphasizing that the bombardment took place the day before the meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky.
He noted on social media X:
"Putin deliberately ordered a massive bombing of residential areas and critically important infrastructure in Kyiv precisely when the leaders of Ukraine and the USA were preparing for the meeting and promoting peace."
The minister also urged:
"Putin must realize that continued refusal from peace will cost him and his regime dearly. The United States, Europe, and other partners have the necessary levers to increase this price — both for the Russian economy and for losses on the battlefield. Russia will have to face a sharp increase in both."
