Ukrainian defenders eliminated Russian boxer Vladislav Yurkevich

Ukrainian defenders reported the elimination of 22-year-old Russian boxer Vladislav Yurkevich, who was a well-known athlete with a high sports level. He practiced boxing at the 'Boyets' club and achieved victories in many competitions.

The elimination by Ukrainian defenders also involved the coach of the 'Fakel' football club, Volodymyr Fedorov, who was a well-known and experienced football coach. He had been working at the club since 2016 and made a significant contribution to the development of football. Fedorov left behind a wife and children.

Fedorov was buried in the town of Kotovo in the Volgograd region.

Ukrainian defenders also eliminated former Russian national football team player Oleksiy Bugayev, known not only for his sports career but also for scandals, and was convicted for attempted drug trafficking. He played for famous clubs and competed internationally.

Athlete Vasyl Lomachenko sparked reactions on social media with his statements regarding the reform of the church calendar in Ukraine, which is supported by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Lomachenko condemned this reform, believing it has led to a division in society and spreads violence and hatred. He also noted that the Russian church hinders communities from returning their churches, while Ukrainian clergy strive to protect their church. Lomachenko called for peace and understanding.
