Situation Inside Russia and Losses
Meanwhile, on Russian soil, the 'Kavkaz' sea port in the Krasnodar region is engulfed in flames, and air defense systems on the Kerch Bridge have been destroyed. A traffic jam of approximately 700 vehicles has formed at the crossing toward Russia, highlighting the difficult situation in the area. The overall losses of the Russian army since the start of the war have reached 1,392,000 personnel.
Military expert Yevheniy Lasyichuk emphasized that 'the next few months could be decisive for the situation on the Pokrovsk front.'
Ukrainian forces continue to actively counter Russian aggression, despite the challenges inherent in defense operations. This phase of combat not only demonstrates the resilience of Ukraine’s military but also its capacity for counteroffensive action. The destruction of a significant amount of enemy equipment and sustained activity on multiple fronts indicate that Ukrainian troops remain highly effective. According to experts, the Pokrovsk axis holds particular strategic importance for the future trajectory of the conflict.
