The Defense Forces eliminated a prize-winner of the Russian Championship in sports orienteering.
Elimination of the Russian occupier and athlete
According to information from «Glavkom», the Ukrainian defense forces successfully eliminated the Russian occupier and well-known athlete Vadim Vikulin.
Vadim Vikulin was born on February 5, 1999, in the village of Baraty in the Selenginsky district of the Republic of Buryatia. In 2019, he showed impressive results at the Russian Championship in sports orienteering among athletes under 19 years old, earning the title of Master of Sports of Russia.
Vikulin's involvement in the aggressive invasion of Ukrainian territory began right at the start of the conflict.
Russian propaganda sources claim that Lieutenant Vikulin was eliminated on April 28, 2025, in the Sumy region while performing a combat mission.
The farewell ceremony for the occupier took place yesterday, on May 20.
Sports celebrity support for aggression
Ksenia Korzhova, a Russian speed skater recognized as a neutral athlete by the International Skating Union (ISU), has exhibited support for the war on her Instagram page.
She has liked posts related to the Russian dictator Putin, the military, and the «Yunarmiya» organization.
Previously, four Russian figure skaters were infected by the Olympics, but by supporting the aggression, some athletes lost their right to participate in competitions.
