Italian Simone Inzaghi has been appointed as the head coach of 'Al-Hilal'. His contract is set to last until the end of the 2026/27 season, with an annual salary of 25 million euros, plus bonuses.
The club welcomed the new coach, calling him 'the Italian genius'. Inzaghi himself stated: 'I am Simone Inzaghi. And today my story with 'Al-Hilal' begins.'
Previously, Inzaghi worked at 'Inter', with whom he parted ways in June. Under his leadership, the team achieved impressive results, but failed to win the Champions League.
The Italian specialist decided to try his luck in Saudi Arabia and hopes for new victories with 'Al-Hilal'.
Ukrainians abroad is always an interesting topic. An Italian coach in a Saudi club! It will be interesting to see how this experiment turns out and what new sporting history Simone Inzaghi will bring.
