Syrsky has devised a way to reduce the scale of the SZO.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that conducting basic military training in combat units may help reduce the unauthorized leave of servicemen. He noted that this approach allows for on-site quality control of training, improves skills in handling weapons and equipment, fosters team cohesion, and facilitates the adoption of military traditions. Syrsky mentioned that this experience will be scaled up.

Additionally, Syrsky announced the introduction of a new training program for instructors for training centers.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that there are issues with the level of psychological training and stressed the need to strengthen efforts in this direction.

Syrsky also reported the detention of a soldier who left the unit without permission in order to draw attention to the problem of the lack of established service terms and the obligation to defend the state. Subsequently, the preventive measure was canceled, and the serviceman returned to duty.
