This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group of troops "Kharkiv", Colonel Vitaliy Sarantsev, on the air of the "Kyiv 24" TV channel.

The military noted that the Russian invaders are still trying to advance in the Kharkiv direction, but the AFU is actively opposing them.

The enemy is trying to conduct active assault actions on all front sections. But we are successfully holding back the enemy, inflicting losses on them and counterattacking under favorable conditions. We have certain successes, I have restrained optimism. But good news will come. The Russians are active in the Vovchansk direction and near the settlement of Lupci. There he is trying to conduct assault actions, expand the control zone, but the AFU repels all enemy attacks

It should be reminded that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the situation in the Kharkiv region with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi. According to the head of state, Ukrainian troops are gradually pushing Russian troops out of the Kharkiv region.

Earlier, during a counterattack, the Third Separate Assault Brigade took control of the battalion defense area of the invaders, enemy platoon and company strongpoints, and continued to advance deeper into the front by almost 2 square kilometers.

According to the military, the ratio of forces on the battlefield is two and a half to one in favor of the Russian Federation. In four days, the enemy lost three hundred personnel and a significant amount of equipment and weapons.
