Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh called Olena Kulichenko «pro-Russian» and expressed reluctance to contact her. However, Kulichenko responded to these words, stating that they were together in the sector twice, but she does not contact Maguchikh. She also expressed her dissatisfaction with politics interfering in sports and called for allowing athletes to compete peacefully. It is worth noting that journalists discovered a profile on OnlyFans of Kulichenko, who competed for Cyprus at the Paris Olympics.
It is also worth noting that Maguchikh became the Olympic champion, and bronze was won by Iryna Herashchenko.
