It`s hard to survive. Four-time Olympic champion complained about low pensions in Russia.
Olympic biathlon champion Alexander Tikhonov expressed his dissatisfaction with the cancellation of the pension system in the Russian Federation, which, in his opinion, only complicates people's lives. According to Tikhonov, the amount of pensions in the country is so low that it is not enough even for basic needs, let alone a decent existence.
'The only ones who really live well and comfortably in Russia are the deputies,' the athlete noted.
Russian speed skater Ksenia Korzhova, who was previously recognized as a neutral athlete by the ISU, caused a scandal by liking posts that support Russian aggression. The athlete actively supported the publications of Nikita Nagorny, who was sanctioned for his support of Russia's aggressive actions against Ukraine.
Thus, athletes Alexander Tikhonov and Ksenia Korzhova commented on the pension system and political views, addressing certain controversial topics in society.
