You will need:
- eggs — 2 pcs.;
- salt — a pinch;
- vanilla sugar — 8 g;
- sugar — 8 tbsp.;
- milk — 8 tbsp.;
- oil — 8 tbsp.;
- flour — 7 tbsp.;
- cocoa (unsweetened) — 2 tbsp.;
- baking powder — 7 g.
For soaking:
- milk — 100 ml.;
- cocoa (sweetened) — 1 tbsp.
For the cream:
- cornstarch — 1 tbsp.;
- cocoa (unsweetened) — 1 tbsp.;
- vanilla sugar — 8 g;
- sugar — 3 tbsp.;
- milk — 200 ml;
- butter — 1 tbsp.;
- dark chocolate — 80 g.
Cooking Method
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt, add vanilla and regular sugar, and mix. Pour in the milk and oil, and mix again.
In a separate container, mix the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Add the dry mixture to the liquid ingredients and mix until a homogeneous batter without lumps forms. Grease the mold with oil, pour in the batter, and bake at a temperature of 180 °C for about 30 minutes. Allow the baked cake to cool completely.
For soaking, mix the milk with cocoa. For the cream, combine cornstarch, cocoa, vanilla and regular sugar, pour in the milk, and cook over medium heat, stirring, until thickened. Add the butter and chocolate, and stir until smooth.
Cut the cake in half, soak it with the milk-cocoa mixture, spread the cream on top, and assemble. Place the cake in the fridge to stabilize the cream. Before serving, decorate it with chocolate shavings. The dessert turns out tender, with a rich chocolate flavor and looks truly festive.
