Special military contracts for youth under 25: MP revealed details.
New program to attract young Ukrainians to the Armed Forces
According to Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Fediienko, soldiers who have served under contract until the age of 25 can be discharged after one year, but after reaching conscription age they can be mobilized.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that a special contract is being developed in Ukraine to attract young Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 to the Armed Forces. He emphasized that those who sign such a contract will receive a number of benefits, including guaranteed demobilization after one year of service.
According to sources in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are plans to encourage men aged 18-25 to willingly join the Armed Forces by introducing motivational contracts.
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws extending the duration of martial law and mobilization until May 9, 2025.
The command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plans to develop guidelines for dealing with those liable for military service for the servicemen of territorial recruitment centers.
