The air quality in Lviv has sharply deteriorated — is there a danger.
On Saturday, July 12, elevated air pollution levels were recorded in Lviv. Local residents are urged to close their windows and go outside only if necessary.
This was reported by representatives of the Lviv City Council.
Why the air quality deteriorated in Lviv
According to the city council, a slight increase in carbon monoxide levels in the atmosphere was recorded in the area of Elena Stepanivna Street. Although there is no danger to the life and health of Lviv residents, specialists recommend that people temporarily close their windows and refrain from airing out their homes.
The Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention emphasized that they have the situation under control. Currently, pollution levels are within the normal range.
