Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, mobilization has started, so many men are trying to leave the country illegally. According to the State Border Guard Service, border guards have been attempted to bribe almost 700 times during the entire period of martial law.

Regarding the amounts of bribes, in total, more than 7 million hryvnias were offered to border guards. Of course, all cases ended with a call to the National Police. Border guards refused the bribe and did not let the draft dodgers through.

It is for this reason that draft dodgers find new ways to leave the country illegally, most often these attempts end in arrest.
