The USA announced the latest aid package for Ukraine: what it will include.
According to information reported by 'Khvylya', the USA will provide Ukraine with a military aid package worth 500 million dollars. This was stated by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, at a meeting in the 'Ramstein' format. He expressed his admiration for the participation of countries in this contact group that help Ukraine continue to defend itself.
Austin also noted that the countries participating in the 'Ramstein' format are providing Ukraine with new supplies of essential equipment. For example, Germany promised to supply Ukraine with military equipment worth 680 million dollars by the end of this year. Norway will allocate about 2 billion dollars, while Great Britain will allocate 3 billion dollars annually. Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia have also become three of the largest suppliers of aid to Ukraine.
Announcing the new aid package of 500 million dollars, Austin noted that it includes missiles for Ukrainian air defense, more ammunition, and equipment to support Ukrainian F-16s.
The head of the Pentagon also emphasized that Russian occupiers continue their offensive in eastern Ukraine, and the Ukrainian population is facing massive missile attacks from the Russian Federation on the energy infrastructure. Austin warned that if Putin absorbs Ukraine, his appetites will only grow, and the violence will increase as well. He reminded that the USA has provided over 122 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that President Biden will announce the latest arms package for Ukraine.
