USA defeated Sweden and reached the World Hockey Championship final for the first time in 65 years.
The USA national hockey team won the semifinal of the 2025 World Championship, defeating Sweden 6:2. This confirmed the good performance of the Americans in the tournament, as reported by the publication 'Glavcom'.
The USA team has reached its twelfth World Championship final and for the first time in over 60 years. In previous years, the Americans won gold three times and also reached the podium nine times.

In addition, the USA women's hockey team won their first gold at the Olympic Games thanks to outstanding hockey player Lisa Brown-Miller.
Lisa Brown-Miller is one of the pioneers of women's hockey. She played all 30 official matches for the USA national team, scoring 13 goals and providing 25 assists. After retiring from her playing career, she worked as a hockey coach and commentator.
