The USA has suspended negotiations with Ukraine regarding the mineral resources agreement - Bessent.
The US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent stated that the issue of the mineral resources agreement between the USA and Ukraine is not being considered at this time. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the position of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who did not sign the document during his visit to Washington. According to Bessent, the issue of signing the agreement has been removed from the agenda, and he doubts whether Zelensky wants to continue negotiations. The US Secretary of the Treasury emphasized that a peace agreement is a prerequisite for an economic agreement. He also noted that Zelensky has violated the sequence of the development of the agreement and criticized him for his public behavior during the meeting at the White House.
