Stallone made an original compliment to Trump - Euronews.
Actor Sylvester Stallone called American president Donald Trump 'the second George Washington' after his victory in the elections. He compared Trump to his hero Rocky Balboa. This was reported by Euronews.
The 78-year-old actor spoke at the America First Policy Institute gala ceremony.
We are really facing a mythical person. I love mythology. And this man is not on this planet. No one in the world could have done what he managed to do, so I am thrilled.
He stated that Trump, just like George Washington, defends the USA.
When George Washington defended his country, he couldn't even imagine how he would change the world. Because without him, it is hard to imagine how the world would be. But we have the second George Washington.
It was previously known that Trump intended to appoint television host Larry Kudlow as head of the economic council.
It was further reported that Trump has already decided on the nominee for the position of deputy attorney general of the USA and his aides. The lawyers of the elected president will take these positions.
Earlier, Donald Trump selected Senator Marco Rubio for the position of Secretary of State of the USA. Additionally, businessmen Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). According to Trump, they will help the government reduce expenses in the country.
In the position of Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard will be in Trump's team. It is known that she spread Russian propaganda. In 2019, Gabbard abstained from voting for Trump's impeachment related to Ukraine in the House of Representatives. In 2022, she left the party and officially became a Republican at the beginning of this year. Gabbard's political departure was accompanied by numerous statements and actions that led to accusations of spreading Kremlin disinformation or possible Russian interference.
