Steven Spielberg advised to watch the best American movie in history.
Director Steven Spielberg considers the film 'The Godfather' the best of all time. This was reported by Variety.
Yesterday in Hollywood, the prestigious AFI Life Achievement Award was presented to Francis Ford Coppola. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas awarded Coppola his 50th AFI Honor for lifetime achievements.
In his greeting, Spielberg called 'The Godfather' the best American film and noted that it inspired an entire generation.
Spielberg also mentioned that he first met Coppola in 1967 and described him as 'fearless' and 'open to ideas, thoughts, and inspiration.'
During the ceremony, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Adam Driver, and other celebrities expressed their gratitude to Coppola. They noted that the director changed their lives and believed in them more than they believed in themselves.
It is worth remembering that Hollywood actor Sean Penn got a tattoo featuring the Ukrainian trident.
