Shot putter Levchenko with a personal record reached the Euro indoor final.


Ukrainian athlete Artem Levchenko managed to advance to the final of the 2025 European Indoor Championships in shot put. This was reported by the 'Glavkom' website, referencing 'Suspilne Sport'. This championship was Artem's debut indoors.
Sixteen athletes participated in the qualification rounds. To qualify, Levchenko needed to achieve a mark of 21.00 meters or to be among the top 8 based on the qualification results. He managed to push the shot put to a personal record of 20.25 m in his sixth attempt. This result was enough to advance to the final.
After the qualification, Artem shared his emotions about his debut at the European Championship. He admitted he did not expect to qualify and be in the final. Artem also expressed satisfaction with his result and noted that he was ready for a personal record.
The final in shot put at the 2025 European Indoor Championships will take place in the evening session on March 9. Artem Levchenko plans to improve his result at this competition.
