Stars at the Inside Soap Awards

According to The Sun: Bright stars gathered at the Inside Soap Awards, which took place in London. The evening's hosts, Dianne Buswell from Strictly and Hettie Dynevor from Waterloo Road, drew everyone's attention on the red carpet.

36-year-old Dianne, who is expecting a child, impressed attendees in a vintage ivory mini dress that elegantly highlighted her baby bump during the event at One Ninetyfour in Piccadilly.

Hettie appeared in a stylish little black dress, while her colleague Tilly Amartey looked stunning in bright pink satin.

Coronation Street star Kate Fitton, after being nominated for Best Actress, posed in an elegant vintage lace dress.

Not only did Viki Myers impress in a dark blue satin with a dramatic cape, but she also received the prestigious award for Best Actress.

Among other guests, Gemma Bissix drew attention with bold gold thigh-high boots, while Coronation Street legend Sally Carman-Datting showcased classic style in a black dress.

Award Winners

Among the main winners of the evening was Viki Myers, who took home the award for Best Actress, while Jack P. Shepherd won in the category for Best Comedy Performance.

Best Storyline also went to Coronation Street for an emotional episode related to Mason's death and Abi Webster's post-traumatic stress disorder.

Steve McFadden was named Best Actor for his powerful role as Phil Mitchell, and Laura Dodding received the Best Newcomer award for her role as Nicola Mitchell.

Former EastEnders star Navin Chaudhry was also recognized as Best Villain, while James Bye won for Best Exit after his character's emotional death in the festive episode.

Awards for Emmerdale and Hollyoaks

Emmerdale won the award for Best Family and also for Best Showstopper for the stunning limo crash in which three fan favorites died.

Hollyoaks marked its 30th anniversary by receiving an award for outstanding achievement for original star Nick Pickard.

Readers named Heather Peace from EastEnders their 'Dead of the Year' 2025 for her 'brave and inspiring' portrayal of Iva Panesar-Unwin.

“All soap dramas shone brilliantly in 2025,” noted Inside Soap editor Sarah Ellis.
