Vitaliy Myronovych Bala - political scientist, political advisor, director of the Situational Simulation Agency.

Place of Birth. Education. He was born on November 18, 1965, in the city of Busk in the Lviv region.

In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 1995, he completed a postgraduate program at the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. From 1993 to 1994, he interned at the European Institute of Advanced International Studies in France.

Career. From 1982 to 1987, he worked as a locksmith at the Mukacheve ceramic tile factory and served in the armed forces of the USSR.

From 1995 to 2000, after eight years of higher education, he was the president of the television and radio channel DIP Kanal Plus. He was the author of the TV programs High Politics and DIP Kanal.

From 2000 to 2002, he served as assistant adviser to Ukrainian MP Ivan Saliy (member of the Unity party faction, whose leader was the former mayor of Kyiv, Oleksandr Omelchenko).

Since July 2002, he has been the director of the Situational Simulation Agency (Kyiv).

In 2006-2007, he served as an advisor to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine in the Yanukovych government.

He appears as a political expert on television.

On October 25, 2017 there was a targeted explosion at the exit of the Espress television station. According to preliminary information, a motorcycle was detonated near the station's exit. Two people were killed in the explosion, and three were injured, including Vitaliy Bala.
