Investigation. On October 22, 2022, Vyacheslav Boguslaev was arrested by the SBU.

On October 23, 2022, the SBU charged Vyacheslav Boguslaev with treason. According to the investigation, he and the head of the foreign economic activity department of Motor Sich are involved in the supply of military equipment to Russian occupying forces, including aircraft engines for the aviation of the Russian Federation. They were suspected under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, st. 111-1 (collaborative activity) and st. 111-2 (support of an aggressor state).

On October 24, 2022, the SBU released audio recordings of telephone conversations of the president of Motor Sich, confirming his collaboration with the enemy. On that day, Boguslaev was taken into pre-trial detention without bail.
